A pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns, and features designed for bikes, scooters, and skateboards. It’s a fun, safe space for all ages and skill levels to ride, learn, and connect.
Everyone is welcome! The track is designed for kids, teens, adults, and families—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider. It’s a place for the whole community to enjoy.
Yes, it definitely is. We would explore options such as planting out tall trees.
It will need to be safe for riders, walkers and drivers. Some ideas are having a rope barrier around the perimeter of the roadway, improving signage, and ensuring there is adequate visibility for riders and drivers to see each other at entry and exit points.

Funding will come from a mix of community fundraising, local grants, and potential sponsorships. We’re committed to transparency and will keep everyone updated as the project progresses.
A pump track encourages outdoor activity, brings people together, and offers a safe space for play and exercise. It can boost local pride and create new opportunities for events and learning. There are other tracks at schools, and at Stratton Street. These offer different opportunities for developing skills compared to a pump track. See Learn More for details.
We would get proposals from a number of professional pump track designers to both design and build it. There may be opportunity during both phases for public input and mahi.
